#BeeWell
We are engaging with stakeholders at local and national levels to raise awareness of the #BeeWell programme.
In 2020, one in six children aged 5 to 16 years were identified as having a probable mental disorder, an increase from one in nine in 2017, and half of adult mental health conditions have their first onset before the age of 14.
Researchers from The University of Manchester are working with the Anna Freud Centre and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to survey children in all secondary schools in Greater Manchester about their wellbeing. As part of this programme, a coalition of actors will work with schools to provide tailored responses to support student wellbeing.
