Healthy Hearts
Healthy Hearts is Policy@Manchester’s collection on cardiovascular health, collating research from across The University of Manchester.
The collection offers insight and policy recommendations on the contributors to, challenges in, and solutions for cardiovascular health in a changing world.
The articles in Healthy Hearts cover a range of issues on cardiovascular health, from heart disease in cancer survivors, to the effects of air pollution on heart health, and an international view on the impact of cardiovascular deaths in developing countries. Together, the pieces in this collection emphasise the significance of cardiovascular health on our populations, and the need for policymakers to prioritise a healthy heart.
